This proposal represents my first stab at planning an entire program from scratch. Not only was designing the curriculum new to me but also was defining the underlying context for an institution in such a formal manner. Planning this program significantly developed my skills and comfort level in this arena, as demonstrated by the professional development I designed in a later semester.
The program is for pre-health students who are studying for the Medical Colleges Admission Test: Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills section (MCAT-CARS). The program is proposed as a permanent offering for a university learning center.
